1. Atmosphere: Envelope of gases surrounding the earth.
2. Lithosphere: The solid outer crust.
3. Biosphere: All life on the planet.
4. Hydrosphere: All of Earth's water
5. Erosion: The movement of weathered material
6. Deposition: The depositing of eroded materials
7. Weathering: The breaking down of rocks
8. Weather: Condition of the atmosphere at a given time and place

September 14: Complete presentation on Create Your Own Nation/Finish US & Canada Maps/Begin Chapter 2-4 Reading Comprehension assignment, for only chapter 2 today.
Chapter 2-4 Reading: Using the purple World Geography textbook, please read through chapter 2 ONLY today and answer the questions from the reading assignment for all 3 sections of chapter 2.

September 16: Grade chapter 2 reading comprehension/world, US physical & US political maps quiz/powerpoint and notes covering Solar System and earths 4 spheres.
We took a quiz covering World, US Political, and US Physical geography. Students who missed the quiz due to an excused absence can make it up with me during Pride Time.
Chapter 2 Powerpoint and Notes: Students will need to review the power point up through the 4 spheres of earth and complete the notes to the point. The remainder of the powerpoint and notes will be covered in class next time. |
